9/2019-current: Program director of the master’s program ‘Public Governance and Policy’
Together with Prof. Dr. Thomas Schillemans, I coordinate this master’s track at the Utrecht University School of Governance. This involves development of the course program, selection and coaching of students, and coordination of the thesis trajectory and internships.
9/2016-current: Course coordinator, Lecturer and tutor Public Administration and Organization Science
I am teaching various BSc. and MSc. courses at the Utrecht University School of Governance. This includes coordinating the course ‘Governance and Policy (Bestuur en Beleid)’ and supervising master thesis projects on various topics.
9/2014 – 5/2016: Co-founder Master ‘Governance of Migration and Diversity’
I was involved in the development of a new master’s programme that is a cooperation between different disciplines of the universities of Leiden, Delft and Rotterdam.
02/2012 – 5/2016: Lecturer and tutor Public Administration bachelor programme
I tutored the bachelor 3 course ‘Policy and Institutions’and the Bachelor 2 course ‘Political Philosophy and Democracy’. I provided several guest lecures about my research in various courses.
09/2011 – 1/2012: Coordinator implementation Problem Based Learning-courses
I advised course lecturers in the Sociology Bachelor programme on developing their courses according to the format of Problem Based Learning (Dutch acronym: PGO).
09/2010 – 1/2012: Tutor Sociology Bachelor Programme
I taught multiple theoretical courses and academic skill groups in the Sociology Bachelor Programme, among which: Introduction to Sociology, History of Sociology, Economic Sociology, Methodology, Cultural Sociology, Sociology of Religion and Urban Studies. These courses were taught based on the problem based learning methodology (Dutch acronym: PGO).
